Warranty

Leather is a natural product - due to this every piece can have variances according to color, shade and texture. As many people know, this the hallmark of the highest quality top grain leathers which, unlike corrected and inferior leathers, have natural grain variances that highlight different shades of the full aniline dye.


1. All Highpoint Leather & Fabric frames are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship for life. We will pay within one year from the date of purchase reasonable and customary labor rates to repair or replace defective parts and shipping costs from the retailer or a repair center designated by our customer service department at no charge to the original purchaser. After 1 year from the date of purchase the purchaser will be responsible for packing, and all shipping and transportation costs.


2. The seat and back comfort suspension is warranted for five (5) years from date of consumer purchase against defects in material and workmanship. We will pay within one year from the date of purchase reasonable and customary labor rates to repair or replace defective parts and shipping costs from the retailer or a repair center designated by our customer service department at no charge to the original purchaser. After 1 year from the date of purchase the purchaser will be responsible for labor, packing, and all shipping and transportation costs.


3. Foam cushioning is warranted against the loss of resiliency for one (1) year from date of consumer purchase.


4. All leathers and fabric covers are warranted for one (1) year from date of consumer purchase.


5. All of our frames are warranted for life of the original purchaser.


6. Highpoint Leathers and Fabrics and obligation under this warranty are limited to repairing or replacing at Highpoint Leather's option, any part, or parts, (except fabrics or leathers) of the product found to be defective in workmanship or materials upon examination by an authorized agent of the manufacturer.


7. Liability for incidental or consequential damages under any and all warranties is excluded. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.


8. From time to time, Highpoint sells other manufacturers products direct to the consumer. In the event of a warranty claim for these products, Highpoint Sofas will either direct the customer to that manufacturer and/or help and assist in processing their claim to that manufacturer's specifications. Highpoint Furniture warranties are often similar but can be different than other manufacturers.

 

9. The benefits of this warranty must be exercised through the retailer from whom the merchandise was purchased.


10. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser only and is not transferable to a second party.

 

Exclusions

 

11. This Warranty will not apply to any conditions or defects resulting from commercial usage, negligence, misuse, alterations, fire, accidents, improper cleaning, contact with sharp or rough objects, or contact with any foreign substance. Claims due to cuts, burns or pet damage are excluded. Concealed freight damage, such as scuff and rub marks, are excluded from this Warranty. This Warranty does not cover fading due to exposure to the sun. Highpoint makes no other express warranties, any implied warranties, including warranties as to marketability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nor shall Highpoint have any responsibility for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the breach of this Warranty, including but not limited to inconvenience, rental or purchase of replacement products, loss of profits or commercial loss.


Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state or province to province.
